The Emerald Order Channel Policy
Members of The Emerald Order should respect each other and their realm mates in all channels. The following things are subject to a "no tolerance" policy in guild and public chat.
  • Profanity.
  • Derogatory statements or opinions.
  • Sexualy explicit language.
  • Rants.
  • Spam.
  • Begging for cash, items, or groups.
The Emerald Order Loot Policy
  1. Everyone in the same realm is on the same team, therefore the Emerald Order believes in a "Need before Greed" loot policy. This holds true even if that means you need to wait for a drop because someone else in the group is in greater need of that item than you are.
  2. Always make sure that group members have agreed on loot rules before the hunt begins. Whenever possible announce desire for a particular drop prior to beginning to hunt. This can help in avoiding problems later.
  3. Drops should go to the current hunting party first, and to friends/guildmates/alts (who are not in the party) only if no one currently in the group declares a need for it.
  4. If several people want the same drop, and both have an equal "need" of that item, use in-game tools like /random to determine winners. Different games have different tools. Use whatever process the group agreed upon before the hunt began.
  5. If ever others in the party will not agree to the above listed policies, use your best judgment. Try to resolve the issue in a friendly manner. If no agreement can be achieved, let it go. Do not create enemies within the realm when there are so many outside of it. Loot will always drop again, friends and reputation are more important.
The Emerald Order Power Leveling Policy
As a member of The Emerald Order, no one has an obligation to power level anyone else within the guild. There should be no solicitation for being power leveled. If it is to be done, it should only be done at the convenience and discretion of the person DOING the power leveling. That being said, players are encouraged to power level other members. However, it is neither required or expected.
